Course Description:
This course allows the Paramedic student to apply learned classroom skills and
knowledge in clinical settings such as pediatrics, neonatal intensive care, and emergency trauma center.
The student will function under the direction of a preceptor. The student will input patient contact
information into the FISDAP Internet data collection system.
Pre‐/Co‐requisites:
EMS 250 – Hospital Clinical II
Course Objectives:
Integrates comprehensive knowledge of patient assessment, airway and ventilator
management into the clinical settings of: Pediatric, neonatal intensive care, emergency trauma center of
the hospital, which is intended to improve the knowledge of EMS personnel.

techniques.
