Course Description:
This course allows the paramedic student to apply learned classroom skills and
knowledge in clinical settings such as laboratory, respiratory therapy, emergency trauma center,
anesthesia, and triage. The student will function under the direction of a preceptor. The student will
input patient contact information into the FISDAP Internet data collection system.

None
Course Objectives:
Integrates comprehensive knowledge of patient assessment, airway and ventilator
management into the clinical settings of Lab, respiratory, emergency trauma center and the anesthesia
departments of the hospital, which is intended to improve the knowledge of EMS personnel.
