Course Description:

In Diseases of Trees & Shrubs students will learn how to properly diagnose and treat specific diseases,

abiotic disorders, and insect pests which attack woody plants.

Pre-requisites:

None (Ideally, students will have already taken PPTH 255 Plant Disease Management.)

Course Objectives:

It is expected that students will:

Learn how to diagnose and treat tree diseases.

Learn how to recognize abiotic disorders and how to prevent them.

Learn how to identify insect damage and the treatment options available.
