Final Test

Relationship to Campus Theme: Nature, Technology and Beyond

Arboriculture is the cultivation of trees and shrubs. By planting trees and shrubs in our cities, near our

homes, and in rural areas, we are utilizing their

natural

ability to clean the air, temper high winds, and

cool our homes.

Technology

in arboriculture includes new techniques for planting, watering and

pruning, along with the constant improvement of the tools used to perform these tasks.

As we look to

the future

, trees become even more important in the face of a gradually warming planet and the effects

it will have on people everywhere.
