Course Objectives:

To understand the scientific method of inquiry.

To gain the necessary background and experience to manage projects related to
environmental issues.
3)
To develop skills in database management.
4)
To develop basic skills in scientific research and writing.

Course Requirements:
Course requirements consist of completing the following elements of a group project:
1)
Project planning
2)
Project implementation
3)
Project evaluation and troubleshooting
4)
Project conclusion and summary
Grading is based on a standard college curve where students earn a grade based upon
the percent of total possible points they obtain. Assignments leading up to and
including the final group project will amount to 500 points.
