Course Description:
An advanced writing course critically considering a wide range of issues and
dealing with a variety of writing styles but concentrating on research-based
writing, revision, and documentation.
Course Objectives:
To utilize a variety of sources to create research-based formal papers
To cite sources according to MLA guidelines
To explore various styles of writing, concentrating on clarity of ideas
To analyze and critically discuss important issues including:
Humans and nature
Humans’ use of science and technology
Diversity and its affect on language and attitudes
