

CIS 201 Cascading Style Sheets /fall 2016

Course Description:
Students will learn how to format Web pages using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Concepts covered
are the anatomy of a CSS rule, inline, embedded and external style use, contextual selectors, classes, ids, pseudo-classes, font
and text properties, style inheritance, the box model, and basic and advanced page layout.

CIS 180 Creating Web Pages I
Course Objectives:
Utilize proper syntax when writing CSS code
Combine CSS and HTML to control the appearance of webpages
Use present knowledge as well as research to solve problems
Apply concepts learned to independent challenge problems;
