Plant Disease Management is an introductory course to plant pathology. Students will learn what
organisms cause plant diseases, the plants response, and how these diseases can be treated or
prevented.

It is expected that student will be able to identify:
The types of organisms which cause plant diseases.
The types of plant diseases which affect plants.
How plants interact with pathogens.
How people influence disease epidemics.
Plant diseases and ways to prevent or manage them.
