Course Description:
This is an activity course designed to help participants learn about the benefits of running, explain how running can be a
part of a safe and realistic plan, and discuss how to maintain or improve their fitness level by running.

Course Objectives:
Students will:
1.
Learn the biological, psychological, and social benefits of running.
2.
Understand proper running form, stretching, nutrition, and recovery.
3.
Complete a 5K or 10K race.
