Course materials will look at methods used in aquaponics production, variables, species characteristics of fish and plants, and integrated pest management techniques (IPM). Pre-/Co-requisites: HORT 141 – Introduction to Aquaponics Course Objectives: Demonstrate understanding of aquaponics production methods. Explain the proper steps used when changing variables within the aquaponics operation. Describe environmental characteristics of different plant and fish species. Display proficiency in daily operations pertaining to the fish and plant production.
