Employee Handbook 18 August 2023 Postings include flyers for DCB or community events. They may stay up for a maximum of two weeks. Posting is limited to bulletin boards and clip strips located throughout the campus. Postings may not be applied to glass entrance doors. 19. Professional Development Professional Development is encouraged and funds available for benefited employees who have successfully completed a six-month probationary period. Employees must submit an application to their supervisor which will be reviewed by the Professional Development committee. Guidelines for financial assistance for professional development may be found on the DCB website under Faculty and Staff quick link and forms. Benefited employees may also receive a waiver or tuition assistance, limited to three approved for-credit undergraduate or graduate courses during each calendar year. Publicity and Public Information All publication information regarding students, instructional programs, and public service announcements should be channeled through the Campus Dean’s office, which serves as the clearing house for media releases. 21.
