Fall 2019 Course Syllabi
The grades for each test will be determined by a curve formula when there are two or more students in the class, which is as follows: The difference between the total points possible for the particular test and the highest score earned on that test will be divided by 2, and that number will then be added to each student's test score. Each student's score will then be determined using the percentage formula listed above. Academic Dishonesty Plagiarism is the use of ideas, facts, opinions, illustrative material, data, direct or indirect wording of another scholar and/or writer—professional or student—without giving proper credit. Expulsion, suspension, or any lesser penalty may be imposed for plagiarism. Any student found to have engaged in academic dishonesty shall fail the assignment and may fail the course. The student may also be referred to the Chair for additional disciplinary action. See www.ciationmachine.net and http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/ for help with APA.
