Topics explored in this course include the legal system, the legal environment of business, contracts, personal property, sales, negotiable instruments, agency & employment, and business organization. Course Credit: 3 Course Objectives The three objectives for this course are to: 1. build a working knowledge of the fundamental concepts in business law; 2. develop the critical thinking skills for identifying and analyzing issues at the intersection of law and business; and, 3. demonstrate content mastery via classroom participation, case study analysis and weekly exams. Teaching Methods This course uses an assortment of teaching methods and materials. Classes will include lectures, discussions, group exercises and video presentations.
