84 Medical Assistant AAS THIS PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE ONLINE Medical assistants perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the offices and clinics of physicians and other healthcare providers running smoothly. Medical assistants often directly assist the physician by preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, obtaining medical histories, and assisting in basic office surgical procedures. A criminal background check is required for this program.
