9 A Message from the Dean Dakota College at Bottineau is student-focused and community-centered, and we have been serving northcentral North Dakota for over a century now. Today, we are proud to be one of the eleven public, higher education institutions within the North Dakota University System and an affiliate campus of Minot State University. Our mission is simple – we provide “a quality education in a caring environment.” Throughout this catalog, you will find a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of our students.
