The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that Dakota College at Bottineau will receive a $358,500 Brownfields grant to clean up contamination at the College’s Old Main and Milligan Hall buildings.

Dakota College at Bottineau has continued funds for the Hometown Career Scholarship. This scholarship helps address workforce needs in north central North Dakota. Through the support of the Bottineau County Economic Development Corporation and matching funds from the North Dakota Challenge Grant program, limited scholarship funds are available to students enrolling in Career and Technical Education programs at Dakota College at Bottineau.
The North Dakota Legislature and Gov. Doug Burgum have appropriated $2.5 million for the Dakota College at Bottineau’s (DCB) Old Main renovation effort as part of the Rural Health Education Expansion Program. The appropriation is part of the $13.6 Million in funding from the state for school support from July 2021 to June 2023.
The North Dakota Space Grant Consortium, under the direction of the University of North Dakota, made available $7,000 in scholarship funds to students at Dakota College at Bottineau. These funds were awarded to students who show promise in the areas of science, technology, engineering or math (STEM).
Dakota College at Bottineau is excited to recognize students at a commencement exercise this spring. Faculty and staff are very proud of their Dakota College students and want to provide them with proper recognition. The ceremony will be held at Dakota College gym recognizing 80 of the 220 graduating students on Friday, May 14th at 3:00 pm.
