Simone Selected for PAEC

Dakota College at Bottineau Campus Dean/CEO, Dr. Carmen M. Simone has been selected for the Presidents Academy Executive Committee (PAEC) for the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC). Dr. Simone will be representing Region 1, which consists of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, and Wyoming.  

The Work of the PAEC is to plan and coordinate the annual Presidents Academy Summer Institute, a professional development opportunity for community college CEOs. The institute focuses on issues of critical importance to success as a community college leader. It provides a mix of content experts and case studies that result in ready-to-use skill sets that participants can apply back at their respective campuses. A planning session will be scheduled during the AACC annual meeting to be held in April of 2023 and the next Presidents Academy Summer Institute will occur in July 2023.
