The Dakota College at Bottineau Foundation has awarded eight students with the Elmer C. Lindberg Nursing Scholarship this academic year. Elmer Lindberg established an endowment to provide healthcare scholarships in May of 1995, to honor the excellent care his wife Bernice received from the local healthcare facilities before her death.
Scholarships from this endowment fund are granted to academically qualified students with good moral character pursuing a nursing degree. Each student will receive $2,000.00 to use for spring and summer semester classes.
Recipients for the 2019-20 academic year are: Kaitlyn Christenson of Bottineau, Taya Domben of Rolette, Ashley Locken of Rock Lake, Haley Crawford of Arlee, MT, Sheyanna Ashes of Rolla, Norah Gable of St. John, Madilyn Berg of Douglas, and Felicia Parisien of Belcourt
