Dakota College at Bottineau was joined by the community yesterday to break ground for a new campus dining facility.

Dakota College’s new Dining Center will serve as the hub for food services for the entire campus community, serving students living in the college’s three residence halls. Attached at the college’s existing Knudson Student Center, the new combined facility will become the main site for residential life activities at DCB.

The new facility is anticipated to be open in the spring semester of 2022. The cost of the Dining Center is budgeted at $2.5 million. It will replace an aging facility that was constructed in the 1960s.
