Dakota College at Bottineau Reports Increased Spring Enrollment
Dakota College at Bottineau is reporting a record enrollment for the spring 2021 semester. The official enrollment of 1,030 is up from last spring’s record enrollment of 903, which is a 14% increase compared to last year.
Much of the increase is attributed to more part-time students. The number of full-time students was down slightly, but remains very close to last year’s numbers. The college anticipates that more students will shift from part-time to full-time status as the pandemic situation improves.
Overall, the enrollment situation for the spring semester is positive, as there was a concern that the continuing pandemic would lead to a decrease in students. Dr. Jerry Migler, Campus Dean states, “We are pleased with our spring student enrollment and continue to offer a high-quality education in a safe environment for our college community”.
Students interested in attending classes on campus are welcome to visit. There is a screening process in place to assure everyone’s safety.
