Dakota College Announces Fall Enrollment
Enrollment at Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is up this fall, with headcount hitting an all-time high for the institution. The North Dakota University System calculates official fall enrollment for all 11 colleges and universities on the 20th instructional day of the semester. This year, that day was September 20, 2023.
Headcount enrollment at DCB is 1,180 students, surpassing last year’s mark by 100 students and breaking the record headcount of 1,162 students set in fall 2021. Full-time equivalent enrollment (FTE) enrollment profiles at 575 for Fall 2023, indicating a substantial number of part-time students at the institution. FTE is calculated by taking the total number of credits for which students are registered and dividing by 15 credits, which is the number the North Dakota University System uses for determining a full-time student.
Dakota College at Bottineau is a student-focused and community centered two-year college. Located close to the Canadian border, DCB is known for natural resource programs and growing in the fields of healthcare along with a strong liberal arts program. DCB continues to see strong enrollments in online and dual-credit coursework.
