Bottineau, ND – February 27, 2025 – Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) proudly announces the establishment of a Dental Hygiene Program. In accordance with Federal regulations, the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) has granted DCB initial accreditation for the Dental Hygiene Program. Set to commence in fall 2025, Dental Hygiene complements the Dental Assistant program at its Dakota College Downtown location in Minot. CODA accreditation affirms its adherence to rigorous standards of excellence in dental education. “This program joins the recently launched Dental Assisting program as institutional points of pride for DCB,”. February 25, 2025 - Bottineau, ND – Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is honored to announce a transformative gift from the estate of George Carbonneau, a lifelong resident of Bottineau. The gift totaling $2 million will support general scholarships, nursing scholarships, and the college’s nursing program. This generous contribution provides educational opportunities for future generations of students and nurses in the region.

Bottineau, February 12, 2025 - Enrollment for Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is holding strong this spring. The North Dakota University System calculates official spring enrollment for all 11 colleges and universities on the 20th instructional day of the semester. This year, that day was February 10, 2025.

February 6, 2025 – Bottineau, ND – To keep with the storied tradition that dates back to 1961, Dakota College at Bottineau is excited to announce the 2025 Smokey’s Week King and Queen. Nominations for Smokey’s court were held last week. Students eligible for the honor must have completed 24 credits and be full-time degree-seeking on-campus students to be considered. The 2025 Smokey’s Court of ten students were from various parts of the country.
